About the British South American Airways logo
British South American Airways, or BSAA, was a state-run British airline in the mid-to-late 1940s, responsible for services to the Caribbean and South America. It began as British Latin American Air Lines, was renamed before services started in 1946, and flew to Bermuda, the West Indies, Mexico and the west coast of South America.
Most of its aircraft carried individual names beginning with “Star.” After two high-profile disappearances, it was merged into the British Overseas Airways Corporation at the end of 1949. This watch brings that postwar long-haul spirit to your wrist.
