About the Challenger Airline Company logo
Challenger Airlines was a U.S. local service carrier, certificated by the Civil Aeronautics Board to fly smaller routes. In 1950 it merged with Monarch Air Lines and Arizona Airways to form the first Frontier Airlines, a name that would go on to be well known in the American West.
