About the Pioneer Airlines logo
Pioneer Air Lines began as Essair, incorporated in 1939 as the first airline authorized by the Civil Aeronautics Board to fly as a local service carrier in the United States. It took the name Pioneer in 1946, served destinations in New Mexico and Texas, and merged into Continental Airlines in 1955.
The name suits its history. The watches in this collection recall that small-town carrier. This watch brings that pioneering spirit to your wrist.
