About the SriLankan Airlines logo
SriLankan Airlines is the flag carrier of Sri Lanka, based at Bandaranaike International Airport near Colombo. It was founded in 1979 as Air Lanka, succeeding Air Ceylon, and took its present name in 1999. Its early tail emblem was a peacock-shaped flying vimana, drawn from Sri Lankan legend, and its identity has kept that island character. The watches in this collection recall the airline’s look. This watch brings that Sri Lankan aviation heritage to your wrist.
