About the US Airways logo
US Airways was a major American carrier that grew out of Allegheny Airlines and the later USAir. The US Airways name was adopted in the 1990s, and its main bases included Charlotte and Philadelphia. It merged with American Airlines in 2013 and its brand was then retired.
