About the Varney Air Lines logo
Varney Air Lines was founded by Walter Varney in Boise, Idaho, and began flying airmail in April 1926. Its first route ran from Pasco, Washington, to Elko, Nevada, with a stop in Boise. In 1930 it was acquired by United Aircraft and Transport Corporation, and it became part of the company that grew into United Airlines.
The simple, bold lettering of its emblem reflects the pioneering airmail era. The watches in this collection revisit that early look. This watch brings that pioneering airmail spirit to your wrist.
