About the Century Air Lines logo
Century Air Lines was a Chicago-based American airline of the early 1930s, owned by E. L. Cord. In 1932 its pilots staged what is described as the first strike in the history of commercial aviation, a notable moment for the young Air Line Pilots Association.
The name itself captured the optimism of the period, when flying was becoming part of everyday travel. The watches in this collection recall the clean, confident lettering of that early era. This watch brings that Century spirit to your wrist.
