About the US Air logo
US Air was a major American carrier formed from Allegheny Airlines, which adopted the USAir name in 1979. Its main bases included Pittsburgh and Charlotte, and it grew by acquiring other airlines. The company was later renamed US Airways, and it merged with American Airlines in 2013.
