About the Alaska Airlines logo
Alaska Airlines traces its roots to McGee Airways in 1932, took the Alaska Airlines name in 1944, and is based in the Seattle area. In 2024 it completed the acquisition of Hawaiian Airlines.
Its best-known symbol is the smiling face of an Inuk man on the tail. The watches in this collection show how the airline’s wordmark and emblem evolved. Fans of Northwest aviation can pick the look that matches their own memory of the airline. This watch brings that northern emblem to your wrist.
