About the Braniff 30th Anniversary logo
Braniff Airways was a U.S. trunk carrier that flew from 1928 until it ceased air operations in 1982, serving the Midwest, the Southwest, Mexico and Latin America, and later Asia and Europe. The airline was based in Dallas, Texas. Today the name lives on as a brand administering the former airline’s heritage and employee pass program.
Braniff is remembered for its bold look, especially the brightly colored aircraft of the 1960s and 1970s that broke with the plain white airliner. This design marks an anniversary of that colorful carrier. This watch brings that Braniff color to your wrist.
