About the Western Air Express logo
Western Air Express was founded in 1925 and began flying in April 1926, based in Los Angeles. Its first route carried airmail from Salt Lake City to Los Angeles under a government contract. The company later became Western Air Lines and finally merged into Delta Air Lines in 1987.
Its early identity is a classic of the airmail era, with confident lettering that reflects pioneering days in the American West. The watches in this collection revisit that look. This watch brings that pioneering western airline heritage to your wrist.
