About the Western Air Lines logo
Western Air Lines grew from Western Air Express, which began flying in 1926, and took the Western Air Lines name in 1941. Based in Los Angeles, it became a major carrier of the American West, using the slogan “The Only Way to Fly.” In 1987 it merged into Delta Air Lines.
Its identity carried the optimism of postwar western travel, with a strong wordmark and a bold “W.” The watches in this collection revisit those looks. This watch brings that western airline heritage to your wrist.
