About the TWA logo
Trans World Airlines began in 1930 as Transcontinental & Western Air and took the name Trans World Airlines in 1950. It ended operations in 2001, when American Airlines took over its assets. Howard Hughes left a deep mark on the company, and its Lockheed Constellations and early Boeing 707s made TWA a familiar name in the jet age.
Its identity changed with the times, from bold red italic lettering to a double-globe emblem and then a stripped-down red wordmark. The watches in this collection revisit those looks. This watch brings that red-lettered jet-age style to your wrist.
