About the Eastern Air Lines logo
Eastern Air Lines was one of the major American airlines for much of the twentieth century. World War I flying ace Eddie Rickenbacker ran it for years, and Miami became its main hub. The airline ceased operations in the early 1990s.
Its look was built on a bold wordmark and on stripes that ran the length of the fuselage, known to fans as the hockey stick. The watches in this collection revisit those earlier marks.
