About the South Pacific Airlines logo
South Pacific Airlines of New Zealand, known as SPANZ, was a domestic New Zealand carrier that flew from 1960 to 1966. It was started by two former pilots of the state airline, with Australia’s Ansett holding a minority share, and it competed directly with the government-run carrier. Its short life makes it a favorite of collectors of vintage airline graphics. The watches in this collection recall that bold challenger. This watch brings that Pacific aviation story to your wrist.
