About the Lufthansa logo
Lufthansa, the German flag carrier, was re-established in 1953 and resumed flights in 1955. It revived the name and the crane emblem of the original Deutsche Luft Hansa, a separate company that had flown from 1926.
The crane was drawn by Otto Firle in 1918, and Lufthansa has kept it ever since, with the shape redrawn and the colors adjusted over time. Blue and yellow have long been the airline’s main colors, and the crane often sits inside a yellow circle. The vintage watches in this collection explore those earlier looks. This watch brings that crane to your wrist.
