About the Wedell-Williams Air Service logo
Wedell-Williams Air Service was an American company founded by pilot Jimmy Wedell and Harry P. Williams, a Patterson, Louisiana millionaire. It is remembered as Louisiana’s first commercial airline, offering passenger flights from New Orleans to Houston, and it also ran a flying school and a mail service.
The company is equally famous for its racing aircraft, which earned many distinguished finishes in the Thompson and Bendix trophy races. It was acquired by Eastern Air Lines in 1936. The watches in this collection revisit its early emblem. This watch brings that air-racing and airline heritage to your wrist.
